Summer time!
Today was busy busy but in a very fun way! “Hunged” out with Eugenia and Albina. Tanned a little, extra vitamin D always helps.
I am really glad it is officially summer. Even if it means working extra hours at work and going through the excruciating task known as moving, at least I am being productive. I am also earning money to help me pay off those $5k worth of loans I am taking out for college. So even though this means putting major shopping on hold, I know I am not putting my parents in too much strain to pay off something they don’t really need to be paying.
Today made me realize how glad I am about staying in California for college. Talking to a person that is dropping out of an east coast school because she said it wasn’t competitive or motivating enough and the weather sucked. In general I hope I don’t have to waste a year of my life stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Wow, I don’t even think that made sense.
Mint, fresh from a garden, is making me want an iced mint-green tea slightly sweetened (maybe with a drop of honey).
